What is a Myth?
A Myth is a type of sacred ficticious story that is intended to teach or inform someone about historical or spiritual events. Myths are also great stories.
Is Genesis intended as a Myth or Literal story?
Genesis is intended as a Myth.
Why did the Author use a Myth?
The author never intended Genesis to be taken literally but it still contains spritual truths. He telling so we know God created humanity, God is all powerful and man is born a sinner.
